We arrived at LAX with our voucher and Prime Time had no record of our booking. Our shuttle was pre-booked via our travel agency and pre-paid. The Prime Time dispatcher could clearly not cope and did not have enough authority to deal with the drivers plus he had no idea about prioritising the passengers into destination groups and asked me 5 times where I was going!!!Īt the LAXit pickup point there are local cabs, UBER and Lyft pickups.ĭon't waste your time with this company its a complete shambles. The journey time to Anaheim is normally no more than 20 to 40 minutes so I missed a meeting that evening. My driver took 5 passengers going to Torrane, Long Beach then suburbs of Anaheim then to my hotel a total journey time for me from LAX to hotel 3 HOURS !!!!!!!!! Some of the passengers had been waiting an hour, this is outrageous the drivers should be on 3 strikes and out, if they refuse 3 times to take passengers then they should be sent away.Īfter 30 minutes two new drivers arrived and agreed to take passengers but still 3 drivers were refusing to take passengers which is outrageous. He then tried to organise the drivers to take passengers to the same or closest destinations but some of the drivers were refusing to take passengers. The dispatcher from Prime Time took my booking number and entered it on a tablet and confirmed my booking and destination. He was surrounded by about 10 people who I assumed were other passengers but I later found out that at least 4 were drivers. Not sure they even have passenger insurance.Īrrived at the LAXit pickup point and found the Prime Time dispatcher no problem. If your expecting to see a Red mini bus van FORGET IT this company is just a knock-off of a poor man's version of Uber with drivers using private cars. I would say this company is a joke but I was not laughing after taking 3.5 hours to get to my hotel from the Prime Time pickup point at LAX. I recommend staying well away from this company. All contact information led me to "customer service". My only recourse would be to go to the internet booking site where I made the reservation. FOR A FIVE DOLLAR FEE! When I argued the fee I was informed that "customer service" is a separate company. The reason I gave was that I felt they were unreliable.Īfter some jostling, where the agent was very reluctant to cancel, I managed a cancellation. When I finally did get to speak with someone I was so frustrated that I simply asked to cancel the booking. ![]() I did this from a place with good solid signal. The next four attempts met with dropped calls. The first time I was on hold for way too long. I tried multiple times to contact customer service. The destination address was back to the original incorrect version. Subsequently I installed the app and checked the reservation. The second time I saw the correct address in the destination field/box on the page and continued the reservation. At first the booking page got the destination address wrong. I made several attempts at booking a ride from LAX to home with Prime Time Shuttle in Los Angeles, California. Next time I will take an Uber or Lyft or ask a friend to drive, any one of which would be more pleasant and predictable. ![]() I am sorry I chose Prime Time aka Executive Ride, LLC. It took over a month and 4 requests before I received the refund for the return trip. I canceled the return trip and was refused a refund for this outbound trip. We stopped in LA to pick up two more passengers, so 3 of us were crammed in the back seat like sardines and we weren't small people. The check engine light was on and the vehicle squeaked on turns, we did not feel safe. The driver drove erratically, did not slow down for bumps, was in a hurry, was on the phone most of the time with other customers because the customer service number was not answering. Imagine my surprise when he showed up in a little Prius. I booked way in advance to be sure they'd have plenty of space. The text message I received said the driver was enroute but did not specify the driver's name or make of vehicle. ![]() I had seen Prime Time's vans for years at LAX, so when Roadrunner shut down operations it was a natural to choose Prime Time.
